Hamilton Captive Management
Personal Branding, Content Creation, On-Site Content Creation
Hamilton Captive Management, located in Hilton Head Island, first connected with BCKYRD to produce a series of awareness-building content for their new products and services: Hamilton University and Hamilton Business Solutions. Above all, these website and promotional content pieces needed to demonstrate the breadth and scalability of their new suite of services. Video content, and BCKYRD, was the solution.
Pleased with BCKYRD’s work and with Hamilton’s 8th annual conference in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on the horizon, they wished for an additional approach that would add an element of “lifestyle content” to their company, documenting the company culture and their wide network of connections. Hamilton CEO, Peter Strauss, wanted to ensure that every piece of footage included an element of personal branding for promotional content, building his community at a 1 to 1 level.
Hamilton invited a BCKYRD team to Montego Bay, Jamaica to make the video magic happen. Our approach had to be both smart and proactive, as this was the first time we shot internationally as a team; we had to prepare for everything and more. The top priority was travelling light, while having all the gear we needed to capture exceptional footage. To make this possible, we first had to put a solid crew together, consisting of camera operators, editors, audio tech, project managers, and creatives.
The conference in Montego Bay introduced the concept of the Hamilton Sphere with attendees, who were both new and established Hamilton clients ranging from entrepreneurs to CEOs. With our team on site in Montego Bay, we were able to capture, edit, and deliver daily content, which was presented during the conference. We showcased results and received real-time feedback. The breadth of our on-site content documented: the culture of the conference, Hamilton’s client roster and network of connections, testimonials for their new business launches, and company specific videos spanning vision and operation.
Since we had our editor in Montego Bay alongside the Hamilton attendees, most of post production was finalized on site. We produced a full recap, four daily recaps, client testimonials, a personal brand video for Peter J. Strauss, and hundreds of photos. Upon return to the US, Peter Strauss had all marketing collateral needed to push the Hamilton Sphere to the rest of the world.
